DAI/Nathan Group Awarded 2nd Phase of Cambodia Micro and Small Enterprise Project PDF Print E-mail

DAI/Nathan Group has won another important USAID contract in Southeast Asia: the Cambodia MSME 2/Business Enabling Environment Project. The project aims to improve the performance of firms in select value chains, support public-private dialogue, and strengthen the public sector through targeted technical assistance. It will strive to improve the performance of micro, small, and medium-sized businesses in 12 Cambodian provinces, focusing mostly but not exclusively on the following value chains: swine, clay tile, aquaculture, nontimber forest products, water and sanitation services, fruit, vegetables, animal feed, and poultry.

The new project is an ambitious follow-on to DAI’s highly successful Strengthening Micro, Small and Medium Enterprises in Cambodia project, which tackled fewer value chains and had a more limited geographical range.

DAI’s subcontractors are Agricultural Development International, Development and Training Services, Equal Access International, Emerging Markets Consulting, International Development Enterprises, and Indochina Research Limited.
